Whitefish Lake First Nation #459 is a native community in northern Alberta. Whitefish Lake members are among the Cree nation, a group with an extensive and old history within both modern and historical Canada. Being the largest native community within treaty 8 territory, Whitefish Lake First Nation has many members spread amongst the entirety of not only Canada, but the world as well, with many going on to higher education, athletics, the arts, and even provincial and federal offices.
